nothing works for me lol. 6th kentucky derby day, 13th recital, 14th mothers day, 20th cousins wedding, 28th indy,

I'm available on Sunday the 21st barring anything unforeseen. That is about my only open date. Whatever you guys decide is fine, I get home in the afternoon, so I can join for the evening play. I don't count toward SotM numbers anyway lol.

Scheduling has been open for over a week. The choice of this meet date was a closer call, with two people voicing preference for a Saturday date (as "best" or "better" for them), but one person only able to make a Sunday date of the options left. Attendance histories, squad ranks, express commitment to showing, and (most importantly) express (as opposed to implied) unavailability weighed in favor of the Sunday date. Therefore, the next SotM will be:

Squad of the Month meet is THIS SUNDAY!.
Attendance is a big part of scoring the winner. Don't let your squad go down without a fight!

The Meet will convene on Team Speak in a channel labeled "Squad of the Month" at the time set forth above. The rules for the Meet are here. The squad competition is in the first 30 minutes to an hour and is open to current members of any of the recognized division squads in the Fleet. After that we will have build advice, a challenge match PvP, teaming up to cruise the queues, and just hanging out together on TS.

Congratulations to the Gamma Squad (Vipers) for triumphing in the Squad of the Month meet for May2017!

The Vipers led in attendance this time with a third of their numbers mustering during the initial grace period.

Showings were made by Engineering squads Alpha Team and Charlie Bandidos (Engineering's Beta captain arrived a few minutes too late to make the grace period for the attendance compeition ). Alpha Team had the most squad members of the Engineers in attendance (including its new member Kenshiro ), and it elected to challenge Gamma for this month's title. In recognition of Gamma's veteran PvP skills, the Vipers allowed Alpha to augment its numbers with all the Engineering Division members who were currently online, making it a match of 6 vs. 2. The Engineers fought valiantly, scoring four kills, but the veteran Vipers triumphed in the end.

Kudos to all who participated in the contest, grand PvP challenge match, build advice, and cruising of queues on this bonus mark weekend that went on until midnight CT; including as follows:
