What's everyone's thoughts on the new teaser for Star Trek Discovery?

It's officially supposed to be set in the Prime universe.

It's based on a rejected design for a refit Enterprise for a phase 2 series that was canned.

That trailer has all of the CGI love of a STO Cutscene... WTH?

Anyway, I like the coloring of the ship, it reminds me of the style of the NX1, which is kind of cool.

Other than that, I am still salty about the marketing Model CBS is using for the series, which I fear only got green-lit because they wanted a lure for All Access, and, should Discovery fail because of this gated approach, will be the justification for not making another series for a long time.

Notice how CBS has continued to mention that the series will air on NetFlix in 188 countries but never quite confirm or deny if the US will be one of those markets?

Okay, I am done derailing... Back to the topic at hand; I am not at all impressed with the trailer.

For those who subscribe in order to watch the new show, I would that it proves a worthy investment.
