Opportunity footage, 11 year timelapse

Post by Husker »

NASA released a time-lapse of 11-years of footage filmed on the surface of Mars. NASA compiled images from hazard-avoidance cameras on its Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity between January 2004 and April 2015. The footage shows the rover's-eye-view of Mars covering 26.2 miles from the rover's landing location.
This is amazing, i still think it's strange that Mars looks so much like Earth.
