Ok, maybe I'm being a bit near sighted but do the Rommies have an equivalent of the Avenger and Mogh? I'm nearly Lvl 50 and doing some forward planning.
Also, what ship would guys recommend for a rommie beam build? I'm Fed aligned but would prefer something with a rommie flavour.
Cheers

Re: Rommie question
I fly the Aelahl Light Warbird on my Fed Engineer. It works pretty well as a beam boat. Very nice turn rate, but it's an Engineering cruiser. Prior to that I was flying the Fleet Ha'apex with the Hakoona console on it. Here again a Engineering ship, but it sucked unless you split it with the Hakoona console.

Since a few days I fly a Vastam Command Cruiser. I only use beam boats and same as Kahn my first beam boat was a Fleet Ha'apax/Haakona.
The Vastam is an improvement in every imaginable way. A turn of 8 makes you less like a brick in space, 4 tactical consoles is one more than the Ha'apax had before the T5-U upgrade and it's tanky enough to survive some hits, even as a Tac toon. BOff layout suits my needs nearly perfectly, except maybe one eng slot too many and one less tac/sci. On top of that you can pack Scorpion fighters and don't need 2 km space to park your bird
Overall I am pretty happy, even though my gear still sucks. Like really really sucks. For a comparison, my similiarly built Fed Eng former main used an Avenger or Tac Oddy as beam boats and jumped into the Sheshar when I got it. I don't see too much of a difference, except the obvious racial and class differences.
I refuse to even acknowledge the existence of the Scimitar, as I hate that ship with a burning passion. Due to lore and aesthetics reasons, not actual gameplay. If you want the very cutting edge in Romulan DPS then Sysil is right.

Re: Rommie question
The scimi is a very viable aux to bat vessel, with its crazy dps. It's also very fragile, as Kojak always says. There is a very fun build out there using the T'varo light as a torpedo boat thanks to its constant cloak.
In truth, you want to get as many of the upper level ships as possible since roms have a limited number of traits to pick from. The Aelahl is solid even when flown without the intel option.. I'm trying out the new T6 D'deridex will let you know.

Ar'Kif is a very good.
First Impressions are its more on Par with the Fed Armitage.
However, if you combine Plasma DHCs with Plasma Quad Cannons from the Ar'Kala, Focused Singularity Modulator Console and Advanced/Elite Scorpion Fighters, you have a massive damage output, probably similar if not better to an Avenger cannon build.

Faeht? Is that the Intel ship? I might invest if only for the trait. The Aelahl looks badass though.
