aux to batt 3

So i started a little argument in ESD. I was training my alts bridge crew when i notice under the trainable skills the commander power of Aux to batt 3.... my alt is an eng but i couldn't train so i asked how. Anyone know because all i got for an answer is "there is not a2b 3". I can see it on trainable I also see aux to dapeners 3, which i knew also didn't exist. Any idea if these are just waiting to pop and its something they will release later or what?

Possibly a enemy ability?

sniffed the skill tree earlier. does not exist at the player level. it could be on a boff, dont know if it will be trainable from the boff level.

There are several skills that you can't craft now the new system is in place (infact you can't get them unless the boff already has them). The following, however I have never heard of A2B III, but if there is one its likely an addition to this list.

So, I know for a fact that "Some" of those are Skills previously available only on BOffs under the old system. Aux2Bat III was NOT one of those.

However, I do recall a Dev mentioning that there will be alt ways of getting some higher level skills and possibly some higher previously unavailable skills as well.

So likely there are place-holders that are currently unavailable but will become accessible in the future.

I have to admit, as Fleet admirals I was hoping to be able to promote a Boff to Captain and unlock some level IV skills!

Perhaps in the future we'll get real first Officers and Department heads (Been waiting a really long time on that)...

But shorter term, I can imagine Skill PADDs in lock boxes or as mission rewards, or possibly even special BOffs, to unlock some of the stuff we can see but not touch at the moment.
