Having a hard time Leveling my main toon.

My main is stuck on leveling up. I have spent many hours trying to level to 56 today, started at about 40% on 55 and after many patrols and missions, even stfs and mirror events for about 5 hours straight. It increased to about 80%. My other characters are leveling in just STF's and no problems but it seems XP is like contraband for Andorians.

Any thoughts?

grind missions, either DR that you have done or the borg chain.

You could try doffing, I am doing this atm on my main to get specialization points.

Its a pain that is the Delta Rising expansion.
The XP needed to rank up are way too high compared to the XP rewarded from missions. Rewards from the DR episodes are poor, youd get better rewards and faster levelling replaying the original episodes before DR.

I found grinding Mirror and Fleet Alerts to be more effective.

Definitely doff if you can, I'm at 55 and not a small part of that is doffing. Mind you, I'm playing story as well so going okay through those. Someone on chat yesterday said that Nimbus missions are offering good XP (3k/mission), you might want to try that (I haven't yet myself so I don't know if that's true or not).

I have been doing doffing and missions, everything that has been suggested. I think my main is bugged. I got almost half a level on a Red Alert on my KDF of equal level (55). Doesn't make sense.

find similar missions that your fed, kdf, and rom (if you have one) character can do and see if your getting different xp for completion than your suppose to.

I had the same problem. I got up to 59 pretty quick then it seemed to take forever. I took me about a week in the end to make one level to 60.

If you leveled to 60 within the first 9 days you were able to do it pretty quick however once they nerfed the xp gain it became quite painful to level. I managed to get to 60 within a couple days and then I got 38 of the 60 spec points (10 you get levelling to 60) and now its soooo slow.
