The Rosetta probe has released the Philae lander. I love stuff like this. Can't wait to see pics that Philae sends back. If all goes to plan of course.

Landers's down, first pictures have been taken and should be on Earth in the next few minutes.
There's some worry, though. The dampers triggered, showing touchdown, but the harpoon anchor did not fire. The top thruster was already a concern, as well, so there may be nothing to keep it in place. It could have bounced or shifted during landing, or it could shift
