Have you guys seen this???

http://bigdibi.com/nasa-confirms-earth- ... ember-2014

It said the Earth will experience 6 days of near total darkness in December.

I bet there's loads that actually believe it too :face:

I am still waiting on the world as we know it to end from "Y2K". Or maybe the end of the Mayan calendar in 2012 or the adjust end for 2013. Maybe the countless other religious references to the end that come every other year depending on which trash publication you may see it on. Lets just add this to the list of reasons some special people will live in fear of the world. I personally prefer to think of the eventual end, should one ever come, as unlikely no matter the cause and enjoy the ride while we can.

Ehh, if it does happen I wouldn't mind as I prefer night time over the day! ;)

Since the link in the OP is dead:

Strangely, despite being a lot less absurd, this seems to be getting less pass-around than the "Mars closer than the moon" one that comes up every year or so.

Hilarious, it's a worry some people believe everything they read.

Visited the link Hevach posted and it leads to the source of the Story as well as many other "tall" stories, many of which were quite entertaining. I like the one about Ebola victims rising from the dead and the ensuing scare of a zombie apocalypse.
