I have made some minor changes in order make it easier for the moderators and our fleet members that needs access to the forum.


For fleet members:

1. Sign up on the forum.
2. Activate your account with the activation e-mail that you should get shortly after signing up.
3. Make a post to introduce your self.
4. Go to your profile.
5. Click on "usergroups".
6. Scroll down until you see the group called "Fleet" and mark the radio button (the circle at the end).
7. At the bottom you should see a drop down box that says "Join selected". Click on submit and a moderator should be able to approve you within 24 hours.


For the moderators:

1. Go to your profile.
2. Click on "usergroups" then you should see another link that says "Manage groups". Click it.
3. You should now get a short list of groups. Click on "Manage users".
4. Under "Pending members" you will see new users that needs to be accepted (it's semi bugged so it appeared under "approved members" with a blank field under the pending users name).
5. Mark the check box for the users you can to approve into the group and select the appropiate action at the bottom of the site.

You can also manualy add users to the group at the bottom of that page, just search for the user(s) you want to add and click on submit.

I've been accepted into the fleet for about a week now and was just wondering if i had a squad assignment yet... its okay if i dont yet i know you guys are all working really hard to make this enjoyable, i just would like to know where i stand....

Also, if nobody has checked yet i did post an application to join... if someone could answer this for me that would be great..

Maki Picard has been very busy with real life stuff, and then also alot of other fleet stuff. Once this stuff has been cleared up Im sure you guys will get access.

I would recommend that you Pm Maki, and ask for access when he has time to give it to you.


Access should not be the most important thing though. remember just because you dont have access yet, does not mean your any less a member.

It make take time for your access to be granted, I understand your frustrations. Remember that it is worth the waiting, because our fleet will be around along time.

Most of the people who grant the right of access to the forum are quite busy cause this is the time of exams and submitting projects/papers. Be patient we don't forget about you but don't be afraid to remind us of course.

Thanks for the info it is realy nice to know about this. I had some concers before but i think things are straned up now. ^^
