Atrox is worse than Galaxy-X in turn rate, most likely Atrox has the least native turn-rate in the whole of STO. Somebody know that as a fact? (I'm just guessing it).
I believe that it is the lowest, shared with the Ha'apax Advanced Warbirds, the Vo'Quv KDF carriers, the D'deridex Retrofit, the Haakona Adv Warbird and the Obelisk Carriers with a native turn rate of 5deg/s.
Ironically the Recluse isn't much better...... explains why I cant get it to turn.
wiki is your friend here (perhaps a slightly out of date one) -

Especially the faction detailed lists where you can sort by turn rate.
I know you'd step up to doing my job Dan, so I choose to be lazy! Thanks for that update.

I believe you need to share some of your magic Amarai.
I find turn rate to be a major factor in my ship choice so ways to alter it without borking a build would be interesting.
The new carrier for example will have a better turn than my current carrier (Recluse), the Gal-X and the Odyssey series (amongst others).
The other thing that I'm keen on is the console setup, haven't seen a science focused ship with 4 tactical consoles apart from the Aventine. Could make the carrier itself quite punchy in combat.

Well it still turns as a big ship, it will never turn like an escort; when I added two Fleet RCS consoles it really made a big difference. Now when I my Atrox went to Fleet level, I added a Neutronium armor that had RCS added to it as well.
I cannot say what my turn rate is till the servers come back up. I also pump a bit of power into my engines as well and there are a few other things that I have going that I cannot remember. Also my approach to flying the ship is of a mothership giving support to my fighters.
There is also how you maneuver your ship in the speeds that you are going at; there are times when I will be in reverse because it gives the best turn rate, which will allow me to re-angle my ship faster.
I have been meaning to put together some kind of build for my Atrox on paper for others since there seems to be a short supply of builds available for the ship. If you are interested in the build I have maybe we can find a good day to get together over TS and go over it. Just keep in mind that it is a build that I have been working on for some time and continue to work on; it is most likely not the best build out there, but it is the one I am happy with till it changes again.

I am really surprised that it has two hanger bays. I figured the devs would only give it one.
I am passing on this one like all the other Breen ships released.

I'm thinking this will be a good ship for my Fed science officer. once I make one. haven't done science yet, so this is a first for me.

So picked the carrier up yesterday (had 1.3k of the items needed to trade in from last year). To early to tell how it will do, but does look pretty wicked.

Really Liking this one. I know my new KDF will be using it, but I'll get it for everyone. I like that if you have the raider from earlier, you can use them as pets... You can switch ships and pretend that your flying one of your carriers frigates.

Yeah...I was kinda let down that they're not using the old one that was in game...it felt much more carrier like while also retaining a sort of Breen feel to it.
I'm not sure how I feel about the ship...it's Boff seating is almost identical to my Pathfinder except it exchanged a Lt Cmdr Sci for Tac. The 4 Tac consoles is kinda odd IMO...them just giving into everyone who just wants more PEW PEW and can't even fly a Sci ship right.
Either I go Tac heavy and the Sci abilities are mostly just for holding or I go Sci heavy and and I use some of those Tac slots for uni consoles.
Plus I'm not a huge fan of the Frigates...I understand why they gave them Transphasic torpedoes since the Breen use them, but also stacking all of those cannons and the flanking, both which the pet AI is to stupid to use and take advantage of makes them really feel "meh".
Still deciding if I want to get one and who to get it for if I do...perhaps my Orion engineer might use it.
