french is a pain. My self I stick to Norwegian and English
Lurer på om det er noen flere nordmenn her.
I did try french and german back in highschool ( i guess). But failed perfectly at both. German I like alot more though.
My girlfriend is part german and promised to teach me. So maybe I'll learn it soon

Re: Maybe I'm wrong
At least german is easy for me to understand since it's so close to dutch and the german border is only 15km away as well, which helps me some since it's an attractive vacation country for that reason.
Have to admit though that I rarily go to Germany thesedays.
My ex gf was half german though and her dad is full german, visiting her again soon and they speak have in twents (dutch local accent) half dutch and sometimes mix in some german as well. Sometimes it gets confusing but I can keep up okay.

Re: Maybe I'm wrong
I found french dirt-easy because I had a Hebrew Junior Kindergarden school. So we'd speak english half the day and Hebrew half the day. By third grade when they introduced french it seemed like a different form of English by comparison.
I'd *kill* for german lessons from someone in our fleet though. Love the language dearly and I'd definitely consider moving there for a few years at some point. I must have some german ancestry in the last two hundred years because it feels too natural to listen to!
And poor Plaxidia without the anatomical necessities to roll her tongue

Re: Maybe I'm wrong
I'm actually still considering to move the UK for maybe a year or something and work there for my company. I really like the language and especially the british accent sounds lovely.
As far as spelling/ grammar goes I tend to follow the british rules over the american since I think it sounds nicer.
For example there is actually a slight difference when speaking the american word color or british word colour, while both mean the same.
I hope that with living in UK for a year I can also eliminate my dutch accent more when talking in english.
At least the other day on vent somebody thought I was either from Germany or France, but that could be because that person wasn't familiar with the dutch accents.

I am half German, does that count so you're not the only German?

You are an Alien! Your character also seems to be missing her left shoulder, did she get in a transporter accident?
