I would then type in a code and hit transfer. So yeah it was kind of mind numbing. I burned through a lot of entertainment media there.

So back to the topic. I totally would love to have a Veritech Federation ship ;)
Veritech? :o
The planes in Macross/Robotech were Mecha F-16 combos.

Yeah it does not really fit Star Trek. But I still think Veritech's are cooler then transformers. Since they are vehicles instead of sentient robots.

I am interested to see how the Klingon carrier works.

The funny thing is the space carrier in Macross was in fact a giant transformy robot as well.

Thats why im waiting for open beta if i could make a science ship a formidable foe in battle and also have some support capabilities im definitely going to play science
from what i have read and heard with the offical people from STO thay are going to make it so that you're bridge crew - you're skills - you're eqipment on a ship offset things like that so even a science based ship can be more powerfull. but there will be limitations so it can't become a full fledged light cruser for esample.
I dont technically want to be a full fledged cruiser i dont want to be a tank even if i go with cruiser maybe a off tank / secondary tank

I want to be the guy that flies around in a ship that dosent move like a bus has some pretty decent fire power and some nice tricks to throw at people both offencive and defencive.

I hope i like science the ships in that line just appeal to me much more :) ill see in open beta what works if i can get a science ship thats just slightly weaker then a cruiser fire power wise and stronger then then a escort tanking wise with some fun skills and is somewhat nimble somewhere between the 2 I will be happy.

But im afraid that its just not that practical i dont want to be a mostly support ship yea if i see someone in need ill throw some help in i like having that ability but i want to blast away I dont want to be behind the line of battle just pressing buttons.

I am really curious to see how they make cruisers work. Like I understand what exactly the escorts and the science ships are supposed to do. But I am still unsure about the exact function of the cruisers. Sometimes cryptic makes it sound like a tank, other times it sounds like something else.

from what i understand crusers are going to be the tanks thay are going to be big and bulky and take alot of damnige to bring down and have LARGE crew compliments for boarding parties. There's going to be ship esscorts there going to be the DPS guys but not be able to take mutch damnige. we all know about the science vessles filling the support role. I'm just wondering what els there can be.

Well that means cruisers are also kind of debuffers considering what has been told to us about boarding. So I find that kind of intriguing.

Debuffer? How so? or do you know anymore on that subject?
