Re: New PC build
So, not to steal the thunder, but I went ahead with the wife's build finally. And holy crap does it look pretty and she loves the RGB. Links below to my Google Drive because one of the pics is apparently over the attach limit...modern phones and their high MP sizes....

Re: New PC build
My new build is doing well.
Ryzen 7 3800x
Corsair 32gb DDR4-3600
Asus Dual rtx2060 super
Corsair MP600 1TB M.2 SSD
Asus ROG Strix X570-E Gaming motherboard
I had to wait quite some time as the CPU didn't perform to spec and failed after a few days.

Re: New PC build
Ryzen is definitely the way to go, especially when considering the price to performance ratio.

Re: New PC build
Yea, even with the new Intel chips, everyone is saying in their reviews that they haven't made a new "chip" since about the 6700 or 7600. Every new gen has been a slight variation of those chips from back when I built my current computer. AMD saw the chance and managed to push into new territory with their better manufacturing and took the prize again.
