Star Trek Discovery Trailer 5/17/17

Looks like there is a new trailer for CBS's Star Trek Discovery.

I'm going to reserve my judgement until I can see a full episode - I feel CBS is missing a fantastic opportunity to reignite the Star Trek love that has been missing for so many years on televison.

Same here. I am going to watch a few episodes before I render judgement. Fans are ripping it a new one on their Facebook page, but the first episode isn't even out yet.

I don't like the fact that it keeps getting pushed back. Also, to me it looks more like a Kelvin Timeline version of Star Trek. Alot of the posters on Facebook are complaining about the uniforms and tech, which look more advanced that those in TOS. However, I believe if they went 1960s retro, they wouldn't draw that same crowd. I believe that ENT had what appeared better tech than TOS.

As far as it being only on CBS All Access, I cut the cord awhile back and have streaming TV and CBS All Access, so I'm glad it's on there but I can see how people are upset.

Also, if memory serves, and alot of time it doesn't, but there was more than one Star Trek episode that had low ratings in the beginning.

I'll watch it but right now...I liked Axenar better.

I know Iv'e already spewed my contempt for how CBS is approaching this series. I'll buy it on DVD but I will NOT pay for CBS All Access... Especially since many other countries will get it with their NetFlix... I want to watch some new Trek damit, but not like this.
