Re: Best ST Moment
In terms of TV / films, it's borderline impossible to choose as there's so many to pick from.
I think in terms of long-term memory, the great interactions between Kirk and Spock from ST:IV will always stick with me, as I grew up with several of the films on VHS.
In-game, yeah, I'd have to agree with Patrick that it's either the PvP match or my first two NWS completions (the second one for being so ridiculous!)

Best movie moment: Spock's funeral at the end of WOK. It's a scene just so full of emotion that I get choked up every time I see it.
Best TV moment: So many but the first time the Borg announce "We are the Borg. Resistance is futile." takes it....for now.
Best STO moment: a tie between getting my Wells Timeship and joining the 12th.

Best STO moment: Building two Mk II AP DHCs and with a few of my own crafted tech upgrades during the event, getting Mk IX ultra rares on both.
Best ST moment: Zefram Cochrane blasting Steppenwolf's Magic Carpet Ride while the Enterprise guards it on mankind's first FTL flight.
Other random ST moment: At Anime Expo 2014, I met a guy wearing a custom made Sierra 13 uniform.

Re: Best ST Moment
I think I'm feeling philosophical today. One would be an old board game/lifestyle choice called Star Fleet Battles with an inch-thick rulebook. One subsection of rules in particular was called Catastrophic Damage, and it was all about what happens when your ship is destroyed: transporters operate at double rate, all remaining shuttles launch at double capacity, saucers and booms separate if possible, that sort of thing. Considering the scope of the game was single ship combat, it seemed really odd to have a set of rules that covers what happens when you've lost. It since came to mean to me that in life, when bad things happen and everything goes south, there is always something that you have to do; you can't just sit on your bridge and wait to die, you have to save what can be saved.
The other is all of Wrath of Khan; I've always been impressed by how complete and tightly written the story is, and to this day, when things seem insurmountable, I still think "This is a Kobayashi Maru. There's no such thing as a no win scenario: just think it through."
