Inspired by the "Darkened Cities" stills project by Thierry Cohen, this short film imagines the galaxy over the glowing metropolis of Los Angeles through composited timelapse and star trail astrophotography.
Each time I've been to Anglesey, I'm captivated by the night sky that's visible. During my time on Ascension Island where there's hardly any lights at night, you could see skies a bit like this as well as satellites going over. Even though where I live isn't particularly bad for light pollution, it's nowhere near as wondrous as that video.
