Consider this: The first successful consumer product to use a vibrating electric motor was a "scalp massager" that was shaped in such a way that it could not be used on the scalp. It remained among the most successful personal electrical devices in the world until Hitachi came out with a "back massager" that was nearly impossible to use on your back.

Wow Husker, thanks for posting.
That is amazing that in 1989 the computer world was basically still in its infancy, compared to what has become today. Makes me wonder what the computers will be like another 20+ years.
