Anniversary Ship: Kobali Time Ship Cruiser [T6]

Hmm, was that pulled from a data file? To me it looks closer to a Vaadwaur ship; but will have to see what they announce. Can see how it could be a Kobali since that is currently what the teaser is about.

IQfleet also found Vaadwaur ships, this isn't one.

HP/shields ship frame thing:



They did find reward boxes and ship frames for (in order below) a Vaadwaur Assault Escort (NPC frigate), Vaadwaur Heavy Battlecruiser (NPC battleship), Vaadwaur Fighter (apparently flyable), an APU Battlecruiser, and a Kazon Battlecruiser:






The Kazon ship's been floating around data files for a while. The Vaadwaur and APU ships all showed up a couple patches ago on Tribble, suggesting they're a lockbox/lobi set. The Kobali ship showed up in a separate patch.

Their leaks page does say that "Time Ship" may be a misinterpretation and it may be a tag indicating the ship is a timed offer, but it doesn't seem to look like any of the Kobali NPC ships I know of.

So, its just a regular anniversary ship, probably another 1,000 autographs. Hopefully they'll let us get another bonus 400 from a new mission, maybe the new Romulan play-through or a new episode dealing with the end of the Kobali missions and the other blogs.

Also looks like IQfleet's theory that "time ship" was shorthand for "timed offer ship" was correct, since the Kobali are building the ship right now.

Raises the interesting question: If it's their first warship and it's so important that they have a navy to defend their knew homeworld, why are they just giving it away?

That would make for one of the best easter eggs ever...but I see that as more likely in EVE or one day in Star Citizen than in STO. Ugh I just tried to imagine it in Star Citizen and got chills.
