i really don't know how it happened. I haven't played since June and somehow my account is banned? Any of you guys ever heard of this happening?? And is there anything I can do about this? As far as I know Ive never done anything worthy of being banned.

Are you reffering to your STO account being banned? Been there....

Normally PWE will email you explaining the nature of your ban, unless an external client such as Steam issued a banning order (which is what happened in my case).

Your best bet is to contact PWE Support and ask them what happened, their customer service is quite good (a lot better than Steam I can tell you (I can crap a better customer service than they can)).

thanks. it is PWE altogether. they wont let me log in so im trying to find a phone number for them. Be well, 12th Fleet!

Good luck finding a customer support phone number. Double check your E-mail, including your spam folders. Like Prototype said, also look for messages from Steam.

I was banned 2 months ago for apparent Terms of Service violations. I contacted PWE support through their ticket system and, after three E-mail exchanges over about 36 hours, the misunderstanding was cleared up and they had me back online. I was a bit surprised, actually. I was expecting a long fight. The tone that second level support used with me could have been ... less adversarial, but I guess the end result is what matters.

If you use their ticket system, don't be confused if the automated part of the system starts sending you nasty messages about duplicate ticket entries. The system seems to have trouble keeping track of its own ticket histories. Just be sure to keep a list of all ticket numbers it gives you and include all of them in your exchanges with support.
