Just throwing this out there for anyone interested. For the curious, I think this is a pretty awesome evolution of a keyboard.

That is pretty cool, and can see as touch screens progress further that they could move into being used as the keyboards.
You can find me on Risa enjoying the beaches, sipping on Romulan ale

That is pretty slick.
I wonder how difficult end-user customization is... they mention using an android platform and developers making layouts and such, but for me, being able to create my own on the fly would be a real bonus...

Did anyone else see the LCARS themed keyboard?

Re: 101touch
The idea is awesome, as a gamer that is left handed, for many games I just do not have enough keys aviable in convenient reach for MMO's or some games in general. Its hard to activate skills, use functions etc with just the few keys on the keypad and the 6 above the arrow keys in easy reach. A keyboard where I can place the keys wherever I want would be awesome.
But I do not know if I will like not having actual keys to press
If this ever gets realized I will buy one in a Store, I am really not a fan of kickstarters that have lofty goals, but there is so much that could go wrong in the production.

Extremely interesting idea. Donated my peanuts to the fund...
While I would totally buy this, my skepticism is that these keyboards don't have the physical feel of pressing a key, something I think might be important...

As a customisable keyboard to accompany the normal keyboard for macro's or specific programs yeah it'll be awesome but i would never use it to replace a proper keyboard.
