Hi there!
I am a big star trek fan, since I was about 8 or 9 years old. Now I am 29 and still love it. And I have always fantasized about flying in this universe with my own ship, walking around on your bridge (and hopefully the rest of your ship in the future).
Been looking around to see what fleet to join, and this fleet appeals the most to me, so I would like to join the 12th fleet.
My choice in STO will be science vessels, and deep space exploration is the direction I want to go. Analising strange new anomalies. And if the fleet needs me I am happy to join a (gigantic) battle, scanning cloaked ships for the tactical vessels or destabalize enemy shields or...
Oh and I'm from The Netherlands

I was just wondering what the difference is between reseach devision and exploration? is it that with exploration there is more diplomacy involved? If there is them my preference would be indeed to go to the research devision
I'am not entirely sure how to proceed. I read in other posts I should introduce myself on the STO 12th fleet forum. And then?
