Well I do fly the carrier and I have been enjoying it quite a bit. It makes a great sciences ship and packs a punch with the fighters.

Its abit overkill whenever I face one in a PVP, despite the fact iv got so many AOE abilities, the carriers spawn them as fast as I can take them out.

Whats also annoying is the fighters from a carrier have the same strength as a Tier 1 ship (what im saying is they have alot of shields and hull strength for something the size of a shuttle) whilst my Aquarious Escort and saucer are weaklings with no way to upgrade them, they really need to beef up those saucer sep abilities if they are going to introduce mass combat pets.

I just go straight for the carrier and ignore the fighters. I know i can't destroy the fighters faster than they spawn so i don't try.

I agree, the Aquarius and saucer sep needs upgrading to cope with all these new fighters.

I was above DS9 when I noticed that almost all the ships were Heavy Escort Carriers !
