So Del Taco, as Doug3575 on the STO forums informed me, is having the Type 8 Shuttle giveaway with their Macho meals and drinks.

Anyone plan on doing this? I have a Del Taco near me so I'm gonna go there for lunch today

Haha definitely! I don't know how long the promotion lasts, but I'll try to go every now and then for a soda at least even though I don't really drink soda hah. But I will still get them... FOR GREAT JUSTICE!

Aww, it's awful! I just moved from a place with a bunch of them to a place with absolutely none of them. Maybe I'll call up my mom and ask her to visit Del Taco and get me a key, lol.

Okay so I redeemed my key at startrekonline.com/deltaco but when I logged on STO I had no shuttle Does it just unlock the shuttle and you have to buy it? Or are you given it, and if so, where do you claim it at? Or do you not get it until release?

You'll be able to use your Shuttle once the game launches on February 2, 2010.

It's a pet in space. It doesn't have any function, or any ability.

But you do have to feed it anti-matter and take it for walks around the quadrant.
