Aye this quest is a tricky one, the best thing to do is to go out left or right and when you need to blow up the cannon come in from the side. On part 2 its best destory the cloud entering the base and then sit inside of the base and fire... direct full power to your front shields... and the rest is self explanatory.
However if you can't do it add me as a friend and i'll help you... Alaois@alaois

I think the best advice would be to have a friend or two and careful communication.

It was insanely frustrating alone I know that. I like the idea but having those clouds spawn on me while I was fighting a turret and suddenly dying. It was pretty frustrating. :D

I had to get some help with this one. The random spawning gas clouds are ridiculous. Even if you come in from the sides outside the gas area, you still run a chance of getting one shotted while in firing range. My best piece of advice is like the others have said, get someone to come help you. It really makes it much more bearable. If I'm around and you still need help give me a shout in game: Velara Dar@Adm.Revan.

I found it best to attack the turrets from the right or from above.

When you get to the klingon and base in the donut asteroid, use the gas against the ship, then take it out, and pull it away a bit. When it's dead wait for the gas to spawn.. take it out and fly into the center of the donut and take out the base :)
