Will this me a multiple account kind of game?

Right, as everyone know they'll be 3 career paths science, engineering, and tactical.

Can you train up to eventually be a jack of all trades or is it better to focus in 1 path and stick with it?

If its the second one is it a good idea to set up multiple accounts to get the full effect of the game or is that mad in the head?

Really i'd like to have everything on standby just in case and that extra bit of fun.

I'm curious how many slots per account. Looked like 2 in beta but that's no solid answer.

Well as far as I saw you choose your path and that dictates a lot of the abilities that you'll get because you can only use kits for your path. I did notice that I could invest in skills from the 2 paths I didn't choose but I'm not sure if you get the same things from them. It seems that a lot of the skills that you would miss having yourself can be gained through your bridge officers so you only ever really miss out on kit which I believe only affects ground combat. At the moment though the skills are very badly defined, something they'll hopefully sort out before launch.

This game is not going to need multiple accounts like EVE. Effective alting should be easy enough on just the primary account.

You can train eventually with enough time to have every space skill..

So really no.. one account should be enough. If you feel you want more.. cryptic will sell additional character slots via the microtransaction store.

I will be superised if you only get 2 char slots.. That would be odd.. But heck there are people in alot of games that 2 box accounts anyway.. so there will be no need but there's nothing stopping you either
