Miranda Class Ship

Unless I am mistaken, this is your starting ship in STO (provided you didn't get a pre-order upgrade).

I think there are a couple other starter ships, all basically the same design. Centaur for Tactical and something else I think.

I think you can start with Constitution if you buy from Gamestop

When I was a kid I LOVED blueprint books of Star Wars and Star Trek ships. Never owned any, too expensive.

Anyway, this is for people like me.

According to memory alpha the Miranda class is a cruiser and the Centaur a "medium cruiser". I get the feeling the Miranda class is more heavily armed so I'm thinking tactical.
