After you have applied to join the fleet and have received an answer please choose a division (located on the front page of the 12th fleet STO thread) and make a post in the 12th fleet STO thread.

Who specifically will contact you? As well as through which forum, I only applied last night so I figure it won't happen overnight but just curious on a timeline as to when I should try applying again? Also, what is the lowest rank which is allowed to welcome you? Will, it be the captain directly in charge or anyone?

Commanding officers can assign you a rank (those who have a golden square around their pins). If this doesn't happen for a while please make a post in your application thread once more that you were not assigned yet. Also make sure to post on our STO fleet thread. If after all of this you still have no response please PM me and I will pass the matter to those who should see it unless you are applying for my division.
P.S. anyone can say "welcome" that just shows friendly nature of our members.

I would like to join the Exporation division....how does one do this? i have already been excepted in the 12th fleet and i have posted in the STO thread. just trying to join a division now...

I just posted on your application thread.
Check it out.. Sorry for my lack of giving you directions.. Im ussually very on top of that stuff.
But Im glad you asked cuz sometimes we can over look that stuff.
Everyone should always feel free to ask for help from anyone else in the 12th fleet.
I expect all members to go out of their way to answer new recruits questions.. If you do not know the answer please refer the recruit to someone who does know. Everyone is expected to help eachother if possible. That is what will make our group strong.
