How did you hear about the 12th fleet? Discovered it in the fleet finder with a friend when we were both looking for a new fleet.


What made you interested in choosing the 12th fleet? to begin with just liked the sound of it, then saw how organised it was and it built a lot of confidence that this is a group id like to be a part of.

What days and times are you usually online?: it can vary depending on my work rota, i have kids so i generally play after 8pm monday - sunday, but of course i do spend time away from the game as family time takes priority.

How long have you been playing STO? Do you have experience with any other MMOs (which one(s) and how long)?:
on and off ive been playing STO since 15/05/2012 (couldnt believe that when i read it, 13 years!) ive also played MMO's like OSRS since i was 10, so 23 years, also played World of warcraft on and off since i was 14, so 19 years, and Guild wars 2 (approx 12 years), writing this was a real eye opener, i have a lot of time played on MMO's

How will you be a benefit to 12th Fleet? Im quite a level headed person, i like to think of myself as approachable and a good sounding board for anyone having any issues be it in game or otherwise, im always happy to contribute and do my bit. im pretty good at striking up a conversation with just about anybody and finding common ground to build from, basically, im a decent person who just wants to enjoy this game with like minded people.

DIVISION SELECTION
You must choose a division you want to join inside 12th Fleet. The divisions within the fleet help us to administer the fleet to better serve our members, as well as providing groups for members of similar interest. Note that all members can partake in any in-game event, your division does not dictate what you can do. Divisions welcome all in-game careers, you do NOT have to join the division that matches your character's "career" in-game. Instead join the division that focuses on your main game-play interest or has a theme that fits your style.

Before you choose which division you would like to be in, please visit the following links with full descriptions of each of the divisions.

If, after joining us, you decide to leave 12th Fleet, then we ask that you notify an officer in your division Command of your leaving. This traditionally has been considered good courtesy, allows us to conduct the necessary administration, and it will put you in better position if you decide eventually to rejoin us. If you haven't already, I recommend you read through our Information Index as it contains information on all our Communication Channels as well as other important information (e.g., it explains how as a new or returning member, you must go through the Recruit rank for a month before you will have full access to fleet stores in-game).

You need to set your forum avatar to Ensign! You can set your forum avatar here: ucp.php?i=profile&mode=avatar&display_gallery. Just select the Local gallery Category: Engineering (be sure you unselect Command Advisor Category). Then press the "Go" button to see the selection of 9 Engineering avatars. Choose the Ensign avatar (second to last one on the bottom right):

After that press the "Submit" button and you are done.

In the next few minutes I will be sending you invites in-game to join the main fleet and 12th chat. You will find the fleet invite in your Fleet window, and the chat invite will be in your chat options under the "Channels" tab. Be sure to press the button to join the "12th" chat channel. The "12th" channel is shared by all our fleets (Main, Reserves, and KDF), and it is where almost all our chat happens in game. We are going to seem like a very quiet fleet if you are not on the "12th" channel. (See Infohub: Communication Channels.)
