Interesting point. We do have another fleet holding coming in less than two-weeks. That might be an opportunity to add a ship to the SB Ship Yards... Or this bundle may simply be gearing us up for a future add I suppose.

But yeah, adding more T5 and lower ships is not very useful for the long game. That said, with the recent console launches, I imagine that Cryptic is likely selling more low-tier ships right now, than they have in some time.

We’re excited to announce the release of our Steamrunner Bundle in the C-Store for 2500 Zen. This bundle includes the following starships:

Blockade Runner Escort (Tier 1)

With this release, we took the opportunity to update the model of both versions of the Steamrunner. The updated model is more detailed and accurate to the ship’s appearance in canon. Visit the ship tailor and apply the “Steamrunner” preset to see the updated model. As before, there are two versions to choose from: one with the impulse engines attached to the rear pylons, and one with the engines mounted at the back of the ship’s saucer.

The Steamrunner class saw significant action in the Battle of Sector 001 against the Borg, as well as countless battles and sorties during the Dominion War. Simply put, the Steamrunner is fast, agile and tough.

The Blockade Runner Escort: Steamrunner class comes equipped with a Resonance Cascade Modulator console mod.
This mod allows you to enhance your team's Shields for a limited duration, eliminating bleedthrough from normal attacks and decreasing damage sustained by the team's Shields. This Console Mod can be equipped in any console slot on any ship. You may only equip one of these mods on any single ship.
