+1. I'm 1/8 French and have heard enough of the "Bree eating surrender monkeys" meme. France lost nearly 20% of its adult male population in WWI and has desperately trying to broker peace ever since (Vichy taking it to the wrong extreme). I hope they don't flip their philosophy because of this.
