The 12th Fleet: Starbase Valhalla

So today I went to play STO (I'd waited a bit due to all the errors and DDOS attacks I'd been reading about via their twitter) however when I clicked the shortcut it brought me to arc like always and then proceeded to say essentially "you don't have this game would you like to install it?" Any idea's on what the heck is going on because this makes no sense to me.....

had that happen when i was uninstalling a bunch of unused, expired programs. then i went steam because i hate having to download a corporate launcher.

Uh...Steam is Valve Corporation's launcher...just thought i'd point that out...

but they have have more than valve crap.

pwe's launcher will only spam pwe's games
uplay only spams ubisofts games.

I just reinstall off of my Collector's Edition DVD that I bought when the game came out and use the old launcher. Yes there is a lot of patching to do however I would rather do that then deal with ARC. I don't touch ARC with a 25 and a half foot pole....
