The 12th Fleet: Starbase Valhalla

Each week we’ll be rolling out an additional reward for the Featured Episode “Time in a Bottle." This week’s reward is the Chroniton Split Beam Rifle. In addition, the first completion of “Time in a Bottle” on an account this week will grant a Featured Episode Weekly Reward box. The weekly reward box gives your choice of an Enhanced Universal Tech Upgrade or a Captain Specialization Point, which gives the character who opens the box a Specialization Point. The weekly reward box, tech upgrade, and specialization point box are all Bound to Account, and may be freely traded between your characters. The Specialization Point box requires the opening character to be level 50 or above. Finally, the first completion of “Time in a Bottle” will unlock the Dance (Ferengi) emote. This dance can be performed through the Emotes menu, or using the command /emote Dance_Ferengi.

Modified by Captain Nog, the Chroniton Split Beam Rifle fires concentrated streams of Chroniton radiation. Its weapons fire deals Antiproton-type damage, with a chance to reduce the Run Speed and Power Recharge Speed of targets. The rifle’s secondary fire can target up to three enemies in a cone, triggering an Exploit Attack. Players will receive the Chroniton Split Beam Rifle at a rank-appropriate Mark, and it can be freely upgraded to Mk XII. Further upgrades will require technology points and Dilithium as normal.

Was kinda hoping for something space based...maybe some shiny new chroniton torpedo to go with the new transphasic or something.

Always the tiny chance next week or the week after right? I mean we got 2 space and 1 ground related items....so we could get 1 space item this go perhaps?

What should I ever do with all that random crap cryptic is throwing at us... why do we need even more useless ground based weapons, there are already way too many in my inventory.

I did really like the rewards from the last FE because it was not yet another equipment set but something that was actually usefull (I really like the Starship trait)

How about some new Doffs for a change as a reward with interesting new abilities or hell a big package of spec points

the last few FE's i ran ONCE and thats it.

I kinda liked that new Transphasic Torpedo they gave us a few episodes back...maybe a Chroniton Torpedo with the same kinda of proc this Rifle...the speed and power recharge debuff.
