STO Errors

Hello all,
Most of everyone outside of Tactical doesn't know me so HI! I'm Vulnair.
Anyway, I have been unable to log into STO for quite some time now because the game freezes on the "Star Trek Online: Iconian War" title logo. My FPS counter is stuck at 2 the entire time. Normally, it would change every so often but it sat like this for almost 20 minutes one day before I got a "Program is not responding" message and killed it. It was working only a few weeks ago and I have no clue what is going on. I'd appreciate ANY help I can get to resolve this. Kuvak and I have a score to settle in SoTM
Take care all

On the patcher, click options, then select force verify and full screen and deselect on-demand patching and fast launch.
try to log in, if that doesn't work, delete sto folder and re-install...

replace any missing tribbles on the tribble wheel.
scream on cryptics forum so they can better ignore the situation (but you'll feel better)
outside of that force verify game files via the launcher or flat out uninstall reinstall.

Also, I know it sounds crazy, but make sure your Video Card drivers are up to date. It's amazing how many launcher issues (and other seemingly unrelated items), get corrected with graphics drivers in place... Not saying it's that, just one more thing to try.
And welcome back.
maj!

Threaten the computer with an open window, preferably on the 2nd floor (or higher). It will either egg you on or cower in fear and decide to play ball. Either way you win.

You know what? Three years of a computer science degree and not one of my lecturers thought of that when describing how to resolve pc issues.

threaten to take it to a "real" mechanic. because we all know the problem vanishes when a mechanic gets involved

I tried to threaten it by holding it to a window but it was asleep when I did it so it didn't notice
I tried the force verify and it didn't work. Looks like I have to uninstall
