We’re pleased to announce that our latest Featured Episode is now available to Captains engaged in the Iconian War! Join the House Pegh, as you take on a covert operation to strike at the Iconian forces. Bring the force of the Klingon Empire to bear against the Iconians!

Each week we’ll be rolling out an additional reward for the Featured Episode “House Pegh.” This week’s reward is the Up Close and Personal Ground Trait. In addition, the first completion of “House Pegh” on an account this week gives a Featured Episode Weekly Reward box. The weekly reward box gives your choice of an Enhanced Universal Tech Upgrade or a Captain Specialization Point box, which gives the character it is opened on a Specialization Point. The weekly reward box, tech upgrade, and specialization point box are all Bound to Account, and may be freely traded between your characters. The Specialization Point box requires the opening character to be level 50 or above to use.

Up Close and Personal increases the damage of your ranged weapons the closer you are to your target. This trait gives up to a 10% bonus ranged damage buff when 1.5 meters from your target, with no effect when more than 4.5 meters from the target. Up Close and Personal is usable by all factions.

Next week we’ll reveal week two’s reward for “House Pegh.” Stay tuned!

Nice little Mission, fairly painless for re-runs, which is good... Unfortunately... Well, you'll just have to play it, then you'll know why the Klingon in me is a little ticked for a particularly nasty choice on the part of the Devs...

Well in some ways I can see the devs setting the stage where you truly feel the impact of this war; I still have a suspicion that time travel is going to come into play some where when things go really bad since the Iconians are not able to use time travel.

Played it last night and found myself thinking, if he hadn't been grandstanding so much it would have ended differently.

I loved it personally. The map was beautiful and the battles were challenging yet enjoyable...Pretty great for me. But I was confused about a few things:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)I didn't know enough about the back story of Kahless...so he was a clone? Why don't they just make another one?

What happened to the sword? I smell a recovery mission coming up.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)The Clone was made from a microscopic bit of DNA recovered from a blade (The Knife of Kirom), that had his blood on it (1500 yo sample). TNG: Rightful Heir.

This potentially means that there is no more viable DNA from the original sample, or that success was a fluke.

Regardless, I suppose it could also be argued that there could be "2nd generation" clones made from the Emperor Kahless II's own DNA... Though we all know how precision degrades the more something is copied, so?

With that second argument comes the potential that the Clone we saw, was himself a 2nd, 3rd, or whatever generation Clone, so the original could still be around.

As to a potential, and future, recovery mission: Damn straight.

Either way, it was sad to see a character like that so offhandedly tossed aside. I would have much rather they brought Kevin Conway (the actor that played Kahless II in TNG), in to voice the character and done a story arc featuring him before splitting his skull...er... Molecules. That would have at least made his death more substantial and dramatic. As it stands, many don't even know who he is beyond the KDF missions he briefly shows up in.
Okay, stepping down off my fan-boy pedestal and returning the thread to the OP...*Smirk*...
