The 12th Fleet: Starbase Valhalla

Anyone know if new ships coming with season 10 this month? Thinking of getting my kdf delta recruit the t6 nengvar(sp) but if we getting new next week should I wait till then?

We will most definately get new ships with season 10 for the new pilot spec.... and a month after another set of ships for the new xyz spec and then another for the next spec.... and in 4-5 month's we will get uber ships with a multi spec seating.

I find that advise very helpful as it answers your question. Since it is guaranteed that new ships will always come out, either accept that your present choice may be outdated soon or later or don't ever buy any ships.

At the very least; the new lock box will be out soon and I imagine that will have ships. Regardless, if a current ship looks good to you and has your interest, I say go for it and enjoy. I still have some toons in older ships now and still like them.

If your going to buy a ship, I would wait till season ten, probably less than a month. As others have said, there's will always be a new ship...

Buy, don't buy, do what makes YOU happy, and damn whatever anyone else thinks of it.

Don't worry yourself too much over it though. I've seen some supposed leaked pics. The fed looks like someone punched a defiant in the nose. It looks okay actually, but that's what I thought at first.

The KDF one looks almost like a Qin raptor in the front, but it's got a bird of prey looking back end. Most raptors remind me of light cruisers I suppose... A smaller battlecruiser or pocket battleship nacells (sp) on the wings, etc. this ones appear to be closer to the main hull like a BoPs, and the wing cannons scream BoP to me.

I didn't see the romulan, though I understand it looks kind of l like a dehlan (sp again...)

Of course, these are leaks.... Probably none of it is true.

Sorry, got a little too jaded with all the new ships invalidating old ships and the inability to cross spec with purpose (I would rather buy upgrade seats for 2k zen each that let me switch a commander seat with a special command or intel or whatever new spec they release seat, just like your boffs where they can learn multiple specs, but just with seatings on starships).

I do like the Intel escort, its pretty powerfull and agile. Couldn't care less about anything new that gets released after investing a good amount of my time and credits to get that intel ship kittet out. Its too bad tough, Cryptic could have made a flexible system where you can change your main specs easily without having to grind 100's of levels with each new spec and have your old ships not totally invalidated by the new fad of the month.

Grab whatever pops out of a box or buy one off the exchange. More fun that way!
