Pet project

So after many years away from playing Warhammer 40k, and inspired by talented fleetmates like Husker and Yuzral, I thought I'd dust off the old paintbrushes and start doing a few figures.
I had in mind to do a project of the members of each Loyal First Founding chapter of Space Marines. My skills started off kinda shonky but here's my progress so far..
Crimson Fists Chapter
Imperial Fist Chapter
Blood Angel Chapter
Raven Guard Chapter
Space Wolves Chapter
Let me know if you can think of any more loyal first founding chapters because this is where my memory ran out: Dark Angels, Salamanders, Ultramarines.

Those are awesome man.
Warhammer isn't really my thing although i would like to do a ship sometime. Then i can say, "yeah i've built Warhammer models..."

The Crimson Fists are actually an Imperial Fists successor chapter, not one of founding legions. The loyal legions you're missing are the White Scars and the Iron Hands (not to be confused with the heretical Iron Warriors).
But really nicely painted minis, well done!

The nine loyalist legions who stayed true to the hated false emperor are;
Blood angels, imperial fists, ultramarines, raven guard, white scars, iron hands, salamanders, dark angels and space wolves.
As opposed to the glorious and heroic traitor legions;
Sons of Horus/ black legion, word bearers, alpha legion, emperors children, night lords, iron warriors, death guard, world eaters and thousand sons

Ahh, well then at least it's another figure on the shelf

In my defence, it has been 20 years since I last played 40k. I just remember the Crimson Fists being on the front of the Rogue Trader rulebook
I got the White Scars fig ready to paint next, just gotta get something for the Iron Hands now.

Those are freaking beautiful... never had the skill or steady hand needed to paint minis, so it's always a pleasure to see someone else's work.
