So i just watched the first episode of the new Thunderbirds series and.... meh. It's just not the same, they've changed it so much. I really don't think i'll be recording any more episodes.
Any other Thunderbirds fans??? What's your opinion???

I quite liked the combination of the old style model sets and the CGI, but I wish they hadn't changed the music :/

I rather liked it. All the little nods to Gerry Anderson shows like the clip of Stingray playing on TB5 and the underwater lab's bridge looking like the cockpit of an Eagle from Space:1999. I'll watch some more.

Yeah I noticed those nods to Stingray and Space 1999. Also Mike you need to send me that kit so I can build it for you. lol

I didn't even know they made a remake. Going to have to check this (apparently bad) version.

I am a big fan of the original, just loved it. haven't seen the new version, just the trailer, seems like I shouldn't bother. Looks like it might me all action, action, action, when the original used to keep you in suspense a lot. Remember those tense scenes when the characters started sweating? Just awesome.

Yeah there's none of that. Its too fast. Even the scenes where they boarded the ships before launch were long on the original. I loved that.
