So another year, another thread.

Hamilton on pole for tomorrow's race in Melbourne. That's 4 pole's at the same track and a new record. Rosberg even with the mistakes managed 2nd, i'm assuming he pulled back those 6 tenths in the last sector alone.

Also the 2 Lotus cars look pretty damn good. Both in to Q3 which is their best qualification ever.

Shame about Mclaren though, both starting at the back. They're not doing too good with those Honda engines but then again they are new.

So come on, what are the predictions for tomorrow??? I'm betting Hamilton as long as he doesn't have another vibration problem like in quali. If he does then i'm gonna back one of the Williams.

thinking its going to be another painful year as a McLaren fan :brickwall: oh well i guess the only way is up hopefully Honda will get the engine up to scratch quick as the rest of the package looks like a solid car, as for the race tomorrow im going to go with Hamilton/Rosberg/Raikkonen

Did you use your temporal transporter?

As long it's not another year of watching who will end on third place it's good for me. F1 is getting boring with always Mercedes on op...

You could watch cars turn left for a couple hours instead.

That's about as fun as watching 22 people kicking an air filled piece of leather round a field.

Oh F1 has been like that for a long time, I was a huge fan back in the Schumy days but he won almost ALL the time and if it ever rained during a race, it would be Schumy all the way even if he was at the back of the field. I stopped watching for a couple years and got back into it a few years ago.

It will be a Mercedes year again, the question is how will the other teams shape up.

But damn I should have put money on this race. lol

The best years were the Senna and Prost years. Some awesome races back then, proper rivalry. More recent than that would be the Shumacher and Hakkinen rivalry. Shumacher actually admitted that the only driver that he was worried about was Hakkinen, he said he was the greatest driver ever even though he wasn't the most successful.

I'd love to see a proper one on one race between Hamilton and Hakkinen, both in their prime. That would be amazing.

Was a pretty boring race, and a sign of things to come I think...

Ferrari look good though, Red Bull will come good, Williams are good and Lotus will get involved, so from 3rd down should be exciting to watch at least :P

Here's hoping for fireworks between the Mercs
