Valeris (looks at painting) - I do not understand this representation.
Spock - It is a depiction from ancient Earth mythology. The expulsion from Paradise.
Valeris - Why keep it in your quarters?
Spock - As a reminder to me that all things end.
Re-watching Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. I thought it would be nice to see the last time the crew/cast was all together. I almost forgot how good this movie is. It always seems to be lost in the glare of TWoK - but its by the same writer, based on an original idea by Leonard Nimoy.

I watched Voyage Home on Friday. Still an odd movie, but a good time either way. It was ages since I watched it. I also rather enjoy Undiscovered Country. Very well written and an awesome story.

It's my favourite film of the entire franchise. A great piece of work, and very quotable...

My favourite also, pretty much the last ride the old crew. The start of Generations was also cool.

I remember seeing The Undiscovered Country in the cinema for my 8th birthday. Always one of my favourites.
On a related note, a very generous friend of mine just bought me the TNG, DS9 and Voyager box sets as late Christmas / early birthday presents. Of course I've just had to order the movie collection to complete my collection. Add all that to the TOS, TAS and Enterprise sets I already have, I'm looking forward to one major Trek-athon.

I had the pleasure to see it in theaters when it came out. I love this movie.

Originally, Nimoy was pushing to play Spock and Sybok.
Obviously this isn't how it worked out but that would have been a lot better I think.
