Neverwinter coming to an X-Box One near you!

So this isn't strictly a STO post, but I was reading the following article on gamespot and it looks like Neverwinter is coming to the X-Box One in March. What do you all think about this, and do you think this will happen to STO? If it happens to STO would you play or just say meh?

Well if PWE makes STO console only, I am out of the game! As long as it is playable on a computer, I am game.

sto requires too many buttons for it to go console. neverwinter was built for consoles

Neverwinter is pretty complex as well. I have a max level DC I play from time to time. I don't have an Xbox myself but it would be cool to play both on the pc or the Xbox. I would be more concerned though if purchases were shared between the platforms. I wouldn't want to buy things twice just to enjoy the game on the big screen.

I have played the heck out of this game in the past... one of the cool things is the chat crosses over from sto, so you can be playing either game and see your clan/guild/fleet chat from the other. I stopped playing from lack of companionship and too lazy to find new guild

STO on X-Box (of any description) = Required Gold Account for X-Box. At least based on existing online play models. That would pretty much negate the point of my being happily LTM with no sub to pay monthly.
So, I doubt I'd play on a console (at least X-Box). I love my X-Box 360 mind you, but strictly for offline play.
All of that said, if it brings more cash to the game via new players, cool.
