So, er, Nick Frost to have a cameo?

I'm cautious about learning this... I don't mind Simon Pegg but I've found his films to never be quite as funny or clever as implied. Spaced was good, in parts, and he's a genuine fan of the ST franchise, so there's definitely hope.

How about Hot Fuzz or Shawn of the Dead?

Honestly, considering the series has been cannibalizing the originals anyway, and they knocked Search for Spock out in a few minutes, I wouldn't be surprised if they're doing The Voyage Home next.

Well apparently he is an ST fan, i'm assuming proper Trek and not Jar Jar Abrams Trek.

Well considering that Scotty has only been played for comedy relief in the JJ films so far, at least we know his character won't change. Also, Nick Frost cameo would raise the film up high as Pegg and Frost have such great synergy.

cant be worse than into 2.5hrs of lensflares and one liners with 20mins of one primary color saturation.
