I'm surprised it isn't yet!! There are a billion variations, but no anime yet, which is surprising! Does Disney do anime yet? They could complete their world domination programme if they could collaborate with Studio Ghibli lol

Nothing in house. They've dabbled in some of the stylings of it a bit, but haven't actually made anything that can be called anime.
They have done collaborations, though. Marvel and Madhouse made several series and two movies for what was going to be a full anime continuity (meant to be the darker ultimates-style counterpart to the lighter animated continuity). It didn't really materialize like they meant it to, but it's not dead - the most recent one just came out last summer I think.

I don't understand Abrams fascination with lens flares.
I overused them when I first discovered the function in Photoshop, and I quickly realized it did not make my pictures any better.
Took Abrams 2 movies to realize this?
