Better damage scaling for Mark XIII and Mark XIV weapons

I saw that one of the last patches adjusted the scaling of Mark XIII and XIV weapons. I don't know if anyone else has been looking into it, but I sat down and crunched through some numbers just to get a sense of it.
For a dual phaser beam, working with DPS numbers:
- Each increase in Mark up to Mark XII (from II to III, say) increases DPS by 10.6
- Each increase in quality (from green to blue, say) increases DPS by 2.6
- Each DMG bonus increases DPS by 5.2
As far as I can tell from my upgrades so far (again, dual phaser mount):
- Going from Mark XII to Mark XIII increases DPS by 41.2
- Going from Mark XIII to Mark XIV increases DPS by 72.8
So that's, like, huge. Upgrading weapons is expensive, but now well worth it, and this will help out a lot on advanced and elite queues. Downside is that I now have *so* much upgrading to do...

Still taking it slow, weapons cost so much more than consoles etc.

Now that I'm thinking about it a bit more, there are other implications. I was pretty proud of my DMGx3 fleet weapons, but that's only +15.6 DPS on a dual phaser mount. Pretty meh even compared to +10.6 from XI to XII. Would probably be better off to have heavy bonuses in Acc or perhaps CrtH. I might be thinking about starting fresh with new weapons. Hm.

DMG was the worse weapon modifier even before DR launched. You're better with CrtH or CrtD weapons, unless you do PvP where you are better off with some Acc weapons.

Though that I've thought about it a little maybe they should of boosted other things more instead of once again just going for raw DPS...could of given consoles and main equipment a boost...in boosting damage consoles more damage would of also came.
