So ive been noticing quite a few people are saying they don't have gsc yet. im just wondering why yall don't. you don't need to talk on it all you have to do is listen. and unless you have a computer that was built in like 1997 or something, there should be a headphone jack on the front to plug some in. even my moms like 6-7 year old dell has a headphone and mic jack on the front of it. also there is a text box where you can type in on the fleet chat so you don't even need the mic.

Basically i would like to see more ppl on there. even if your not playing bridge commander or anything your just on the computer playing a game surfing the web i think ppl should be in the fleet channel. its a great way to get to know other fleet members. Now i need to get better at this too as ill be logged into gsc but forget to join our fleet chat. so im not picking on anyone in particular its just we have a decent number of members now and i think we should all start getting to know each other better.

Download gsc here
http://getgsc.com/gsc/downloads/

Edit:

This helpfull guide was Posted by Klogd on our STO fleet forum so ill post it here as well

1. start up gsc and log into your account (your gsc account)
2. In the main window titled "YOURNICK's Friends" there are 4 tabs.
3. Click the "Voice" tab.
4. in the lower left corner of the window there is a add button, click it.
5. A popup menu opens over the button, select "by searching"
6. at the top there are two dropdown with "name" and "contains" followed by an empty text field
7. Write "12th fleet" and hit "search" below and 1 or 2 results show up
8. Select the one with location: 63.209.32.12:8424 and click "Add Selected to" and then "Public voice servers"

well.....

It apparently isn't compatible with Vista 64. Yet.

However, I thought i'd give it a go anyway. When I tried to install I got a category 10 malware alert resulting in an immediate reboot and erase

Ventrillo anyone?

i have vista 64 bit and windows 7 64 bit and both work on my computer duno what a catagory 10 malware alert is but i havent had problems.

also when i read that i pictured some ensign saying "captain we have a category 10 malware alert"

probably not as the xbox plug is smaller then a normal jack. and for computers you need 2 plugs one for the headphones and one for the mic.

unless your not talking about the jack thats on the xbox controler.....i dont own one so tbh no idea what your talking about

I dl'ed and created account with my AOL email and no verification came through (I checked my spam folder). After a couple of hours, I registered an account with my yahoo mail and verification came right away.

Jumped on and only found one 12th Fleet (Bridge Commander) but it appears it was the right one with all the divisions there.
