How did you hear about the 12th fleet?
Heard from a few of your members online and saw the advert on the STO forums.

What made you interested in choosing the 12th fleet?

Want to be part of an active organized fleet with a breadth of activities. Looks like you fit the bill!

Not entirely certain as I've only been playing for a few days. Like the PvE and grouping and the PVP can be fun when I'm not stuck in a que or getting bumped from a server. Would definitely be up for raiding if it is good but no idea what it would be like in STO. I'm up for a bit of crafting but don't want it to be my main focus.

What days and times are you usually online?: Evenings say 9-1 GMT weekdays and longer at weekends (sometimes all day if I have nothing better to do), although I often have to work long hours and over weekends so it can vary from week to week. I can say that I will be on for AT LEAST 15 hours a week.

Not really sure as I will have to see how things pan out in game. To be honest tho I will be put where I'm needed and will build my character from there.

Have you ever played an MMORPG? If so, which one and how long:

Neverwinter nights (the AOL one) ages ago and I can't remember for how long

Everquest 2 for 6 months or so.

EVE online for about a year a couple of years ago until I started to think that it was too much like hard work.

WoW for about a month but just didn't really jell with me - perhaps it was that south park episode that did it for me.

Age of conan for a while till I moved away from the buddy I used to play with.

In a paragraph please explain how you will benefit the 12th fleet?
I'm pretty much a hard core gamer (just as much single player as MMOPRG) so I have experience and tend to get pretty dedicated to games (much to my girlfriends annoyance). I've got a pretty analytic mind so I will be working out how to max the game system and would love to share my experiences with you. I suppose I'm a trekie at heart as well as pretty mature and easy going so I should be good company to game with. I spend a lot of time online even when I'm not gaming (such a good procrastination tool) so I will be around the forums and make friends with you all as well as helping out in any way that is needed. Although I missed the start of the open beta I plan on making up for lost time when the game hits.

Been looking around a bit and realise that my chances of getting accepted are probably pretty slim. Would love to be part of this fleet but how whats your policy on me looking elsewhere. I would rather be here than anywhere else, so I'll take a place here over somewhere else. However, would it harm my application if I look elsewhere - ie. post on other forums about fleets?

I would definitely keep all your options open.. joining a fleet can be as fun as the game itself and should be a personal voyage. You are not a full member so you are not bound to anything and shouldn't affect our decision on your application. Welcome, by the way.
