Untill you are a member of the fleet we cant really invite you to it ingame..

I applied 9 January, and have never heard anything about it. Since all I have heard is welcomes, etc, I had no way of knowing whether or not I was accepted. I read the required posts on the Recruitment forum, and submitted an application. Was I suppose to do something else?

For the record, I imagine all applicants, including myself, are afraid to PM an admiral because then it says, "Hey! Pay attention to me! I'm the most important!" which is a mentality that most of us should have left behind at age 13 or so. Of course, I understand that you understand if we do this, but the fate of our fleet application could be impacted negatively by behavior like this rather than patience. Then again, it could be good for us as it shows that we have ambition and are willing to go that far to try to get in. Besides, who wouldn't go far to get into this awesome fleet! [/sucking up]

The problem we have is with the huge influx of aplications we have gotten since open beta began has been a tad overwhelming.. and our Admirals have alot on their plates. I would say if your app is from Jan 9th then you may want to bump your app or send a pm. Please make sure that the depertments you chose to join are not full however.. We do have limited space I am afraid.. STO only supports 250 (I think) fleet members.

Actually, I did send a PM to Arsinoe concerning my application, perhaps 10 days ago. I made him aware that I had decided to request Intel/Recon. I had thought that since this is still Beta, people may be able to join the fleet, even before their application is approved. Beta serves as a perfect opportunity to see how people handle themselves in-game, without any longterm consequences, since we all start over when Beta ends. As far as trying to get someone's attention, in reference to my application, I do understand that the leaders are overwhelmed.
