The 12th Fleet: Starbase Valhalla

So, with the hundreds of possible color codes available in the game now for uniforms. I was curious if anyone has already, or is perhaps pondering a look for the fleet uniform and then change the undershirt color to the various department they work in? Just a interesting thing to bring a little more additional flavor to the game play when people are on each others bridge or for events etc.

It has been brought up by a couple members but as a fleet no.. We do not have a uniform.. When you become a member of a fleet you get a sencond "Look" for your char.. Basically a second set of clothes. I would guess you can use this for a Fleet Uniform eventually but I doubt anyone will wear them all the time.. I know I wont..
Anyway the Admirals would have to bring this up and get it going anyhow

I'd probably only wear it on special occasions if it were forced. I prefer using my own uniform.

For role playing purposes I would wear it if we had a fleet gathering on a space station or something, then it'd be pretty cool. During end-game raids I rather trust my own uniform to do its job.

Oh, totally in general I would likely use my own or just put on the "fleet" uniform for certain things. I was more thinking of having it for special events. Because well personally it would be cool if when you have Fleet IG stuff that all teh Admirals or captains are visually visible in X type uniform while other departments have there own type of color code under the same area heh. Also for ground warfare the Marines in some dress would likely give the other side one hell of a reminder what teamwork is. Mental warfare, is part of teh game to

The uniform is a look. It has nothing to do with gameplay. Armor and kits affect gamplay. Armor and kit graphics can be turned off, displaying your uniform. So, whatever uniform you choose to display can be displayed no matter what armor or kit you are wearing.

At least I think that's how it works.

It works like that yeah, but if you have a choice between your own uniform or something somebody else designed you'll probably go with your own stuff.

For special occasions it could be fun. Not really sure how viable it is to give each rank his or her own uniform version though.

I have to agree a uniform reqiremnt for 12th would be nice so long as we can do it only when we have meatings or gatherings. when in combat i say anything gose less it dosn't matter what you are waring (after all the bottem is black on all our uniforms anyway so our enimys can't see we craped ourselfs when thay showed up!) << >> << Or is that just me?

I would like to see a fleet uniform that would be considered as a "dress" uniform that we would use.

I'm thinking of using a white uniform.. it'll show up then. <.<

So this is the dress Uniform I was tweaking with, its totally just me playing around with the creator but just for an idea. This would be for the odd formal IC special event we have for something. Likely more stuff to do with the Fleet Base once all that gets activated etc.
