Which ship are you aiming for, in game?

Im not sure what ship im going im going to wait for open beta to test the classes out i love the ships in the science line the discovery and intrepid are the sexy . But i dont really want to play a support role so ill probably go cruiser what ever ship looks cool and is not annoyingly slow and moves like a bus

I Will poribly go with something like Voyager after all it was a exploration / research ship so it should be right up my ally.

Yeah I really liked the Voyager's design. I guess that makes sense considering the Nova is my favorite

I think I have seen an incarnation of every ship from the TV shows in some form in all of the fancy eye candy trailers. Which is pretty exciting if you ask me.

it is to me as well. from what i have seen will start off small in a little ship like the Runabout. then work our way up to older larger ships then to new ones. I hope the flow is like that it will be so cool.

Yea kinda stinks i love all the ships in the Science line but its not really my play style i like to play an offensive or an offence support hybrid , not just all support. Thats why im waiting for open beta if i could make a science ship a formidable foe in battle and also have some support capabilities im definitely going to play science

from what i have read and heard with the offical people from STO thay are going to make it so that you're bridge crew - you're skills - you're eqipment on a ship offset things like that so even a science based ship can be more powerfull. but there will be limitations so it can't become a full fledged light cruser for esample.

Well one thing that makes me feel less bad on largely missing out on the science line is I will never have to captain the USS Pasteur. That thing is ugly. Giant spheres are for Borg and Star Wars.

Still one ugly ship compared to everything else the Federation has in the various series.
