I think i'm gonna leave it there. I get the feeling i'm messing with it too much now. I've given it one last wash over with a mixed solution to give it a weathered effect but this time i've followed the lines off the ship. If you look on top of the saucer section you can see the effect, it's the same all over the ship. Gives it a real dirty, weathered, battered look. It's not as dark as in the pics. I'm gonna wait until the weather stops with it's hurricane winds so i can take all 3 models outside and give them all a blast with the clear coat for some protection and call it done.

Weathering a model is nice, but easy to overdo.

I would try to paint the parts where you can see inside the model a bit.
Looks a bit strange with the white inside.

Lol yeah me too. I thought about making a large Galactica drone from foam and an existing cheap drone.
