:o Slow? Try halt. Honestly, who wants to spend 5000 dilithium on one purple doff? I have used it hundreds of times and I can tell you the odds of getting something actually useful were slim. Doff prices are going to go way up now.

Also, I like how they are raising dilithium cost on almost everything and yet still have the 8000k limit. If they would just increase the limit it wouldn't be so bad.

I suppose the challenge for the developers has always been 'how do we keep the game interesting and challenging'. So they've raised the bar a bit, moved up some requirements, which is probably a good thing. After running x hundred STF's it gets a bit repetitive and once you've outfitted every ship you've ever owned with MK XII whatever, and every character with Mk XII ground stuff then what next. I've heard and read that some folks have hundreds of edc's, or prototype tech, etc just sitting in their banks. So the carrot becomes a new Mk XIIIIIIIIII set of whatever. Convert or don't convert, it's really up to you, but I just want to have something to work towards or achieve and I like the new content, and I want something new and different.

I guess what I'm trying to say is just enjoy, it's something "different". No one is getting screwed here, the game is just changing and that is a good thing.

Yet with every patch, every update Cryptic so far has not added anyting to make the game interesting or challenging, only added more dilithium or other notorious grind into the game. The last challenging thing were when the original STF were added a long time ago, after that it was all just more grind. Season 7 is yet another prime example of more grind in every aspect of the game.

I shall see if the new content is at least interesting and the new stf some bit challenging (altough it will be hard to find players not wanting to do the easy elite stf instead of the hard ones - who will now ever go to do cure and infected ground elite?

I know exactly how you feel Eldiora. That is why I am no longer playing the game as much, because they are turning it into pay-to-win and grinding game.

And if you want someone to do the new STF, ground or space, look me up. I don't do STFs for the grind, I do them for the challenge, so new and tougher STFs are welcomed by me, although I still miss the old ones.

well apparently STF do not award dilithium anymore. And the elite drops that you get 1 per mission can be turned in for 5 for 1k dil.... I really am doing my best right now to keep calm and not just rage really really hard.

Hmmm... I'm still patching.

I see some habitual changes to my routine and some increased costs, but otherwise nothing too much.

Still want to get some Mk XII pieces but I guess it was always going to be a question of grinding.
